MARK KAHNY

Mark Kahny is an incredible pianist. His career as an entertainer started at the young age of 15. He has a degree in classical piano performance from the U. of Cincinnati / Conservatory of Music. He toured from Vegas to Chicago with Cops and Robbers, a 9 piece horn band. While he is predominately a jazz player his influences include not only the likes of Al Jarreau and Harry Connick Jr. but also Sting, and of course Elton John and Billy Joel. Mark is known for his ability as an accompanist. While he is wonderful to watch while backing up what he fondly calls his "divas", he is an absolute joy entertaining solo. His extensive knowledge of jazz and pop standards, along with classic lite rock hits makes every selection one to look forward to. Mark has a resonant baritone voice to go with his elegant playing style.
